This Privacy and Cookie Policy (the "Policy") becomes effective immediately for unregistered users and users registering accounts or otherwise acknowledging the Policy on or after the revision date. The EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") is effective for all EU-resident users who are natural persons. If you object to the Policy after it becomes effective for you, you may no longer use the CricVerse platform.

We, CricVerse, as the data controller ("CricVerse", "we", or "us"), explain in this Policy how we collect, process and/or use information that we receive via our mobile application(s), website(s) and any email(s) that we send (collectively, the "Platform") that link to this Policy, as amended from time to time.

This Policy describes how CricVerse collects, processes, uses, shares and secures the personal information you provide. It also describes your choices regarding use, access, and correction of your personal information. For purposes of this Policy, personal information means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

This Privacy Policy is applicable to all those who use or visit the CricVerse mobile application and website (collectively, "Users"). The Users are bound by the terms of use of CricVerse. It does not apply to information that we collect through other channels, such as information that we collect offline, from other websites or from emails you send us.

A. Introduction of CricVerse

This Policy applies to the CricVerse mobile application across different OS platforms and the website https://cricverseindia.com("CricVerse", "we" or "us"), which are operated and owned by Dotsquares Technologies India Pvt Ltd. It is CricVerse's policy to comply with applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011.

The Platform may contain links to other websites over which we have no control. CricVerse is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other websites to which you choose to link from the Platform. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third party websites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.

We are dedicated to respecting and protecting the privacy of our Users. All information Users provide, such as e-mail addresses or any additional personal information on or through any forms found on the Platform, will be used solely to support Users' relationship with CricVerse.

B. User Consent to the Information We Collect

By using or visiting the Platform, you consent to the terms of our online Privacy Policy and to CricVerse's processing of personal information for the purposes set out in this Policy and in the Terms & Conditions. By using the Platform, you also consent to abide by the laws applicable to the region of operation.

By registering with CricVerse, by managing your profile, or opting in when presented with choices, you explicitly consent for us to use your information, subject to local laws, for purposes including but not limited to:

• allowing you to create and manage an account and profile;
• enabling scoring of matches, management of teams, tournaments and statistics based on information you provide;
• contacting you about Platform updates, security alerts and service-related communications;
• providing you with additional communications, information, and promotions (where permitted by law);
• detecting, investigating and preventing activities that may violate our policies or be illegal;
• generating aggregate insights, analytics, and internal reports about use of CricVerse.

C. Information Given by You

When you register as a CricVerse user, you may be asked to provide certain personal information such as your name, email address, mobile number, city, team details and other profile information. We may also collect information when you contact us, participate in surveys, give feedback, or use specific features of the Platform.

Depending on how you interact with CricVerse, the information we collect from you may vary, but can include profile and account details, match and tournament information you create, and your preferences.

D. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use CricVerse, your device automatically provides certain technical information so that we can deliver and optimize our services. This may include IP address, device identifiers, device type, operating system version, browser type, crash logs, and approximate location (if enabled).

E. How We Use Information

To access or use CricVerse you must be of reasonable age (typically 18 years or older), or use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent, guardian or other responsible adult, in accordance with applicable law.
